The Komatsu 370E is designed for use in both harvesters and track machines improving reliability and productivity benefits. This can be explained by the whole new saw unit with a new engine and new assembly bar. The new engine provides a more efficient cutting function and the more robust design maximizes productivity and minimizes engine division. The engine allows for maximum production without exceeding the current maximum speed, which reduces the risk of potential damages.
All the previously existing benefits remain in the new 370E: Cutting and processing of trees in a larger volume, the broad dimensions of all parts and mobile accessories, the fifth delimbing knife, tested and patented barking and many other functions.
Both agile and light, while still strong and compact, with an unsurpassable high capacity. This is the combination that characterizes the drive of the two rollers in the Komatsu S82´s head. This makes it very effective for refinement in challenging work.
Log Max 5000D is a versatile head for harvesting, ranging from thinning to medium final cut. Well placed guards and heavy-duty covers protect internal components and hoses from damage.
High performance saw hydraulics provide full flow to the bottom saw for fast cutting.
Log Max 6000 B is a processing bolster, light weighted and designed for the final cut. It combines its light weight with high power, especially designed for large and wheeled base machines.
Log Max 7000C is a processing head designed for very heavy wood. This harvesting head combines high power with high speed, thus achieving the best performance with very heavy trunks that have excessive branches.
Log Max E6 head was specially designed for harvesting eucalyptus.
